Kit holds a Master in Social Work degree from the University of Iowa and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, licensed to practice in the State of Iowa. In addition, she has a certificate in Aging Studies also from the University of Iowa.

Ms. Crane offers supportive, strengths-based therapy to individuals across the lifespan. She has extensive experience in Mood Disorders, Anxiety, ADHD, Parent/Child Issues, and Life Transitions. Ms. Crane also provides education and illness management, assisting clients with the impact that mental illness can have on an individual’s life. She focuses on children, adolescent, and adult mental health, parenting education and advocacy, adolescent and teen concerns, relationship issues, and skill building for all ages. She utilizes a wide range of therapeutic techniques in close collaboration with her clients to create a comprehensive plan for treatment. This plan focuses on recovery, to promote stability and overall well-being.

Her professional career has allowed her the unique opportunity to develop and supervise a nationally acclaimed in-home program working with chronically mentally ill parents and their minor children to create stability in their lives and to assist parents in being the very best parents they can be.
