Mercy

Mercy (here with her human, Emily Michener) is a golden doodle who has undergone significant training and successfully completed testing to certify her as a professional facility dog. Mercy's job is to help provide comfort to those in session, offer a feeling of safety/security while experiencing difficult emotions in therapy, and can act as a grounding source should someone become emotionally dysregulated during session. Mercy also provides lots of snuggles and laughs. Mercy can often be found lounging in her favorite chair or offering a friendly greeting in our waiting room.
