Dr. Bangash is a board certified Psychiatrist currently practicing in the state of Iowa. She completed her training at the UnityPoint-Broadlawns Psychiatry Residency in Des Moines where she worked with a diverse range of patients.
Dr. Bangash’s area of interest is working with adult patients struggling with mood and anxiety disorders. She understands that starting or making changes to psychiatric medications can be intimidating. Which is why she approaches her treatment with a collaborative mindset between her and her patients. Her style of prescribing is best-described as utilizing a more conservative, evidenced-based approach, to minimize side effects while finding a regimen that is sustainable and works best for her patients.
