Dr. Al-Guboori has dedicated over three decades to the field of medicine, specializing in Psychiatry for over 15 years. After training and working in the US, Dr. Al-Guboori relocated to Dubai, UAE and practiced for 10 years. She is eager to bring her wealth of experience back to Iowa.
As a psychopharmacologist, Dr. Al-Guboori is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life and treating a variety of mental illnesses, including anxiety, mood, and thought disorders. Her work in Dubai primarily focused on accomplishing these goals in an outpatient care setting.
Most recently, she worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and there began setting roots in Iowa communities, meeting a diverse range of patients. She is eager to embark on a new journey at Meadowlark.
