Pamela Moen, LISW

Pamela is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with over 9 years of experience in the social services field. She received her BA in psychology from The University of Northern Iowa in 2004 and her Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2014. She provides diagnosis and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.

Miss Moen’s therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and play therapy techniques. Pamela’s therapeutic approach is one that is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. Pamela is passionate about providing a safe space for clients to work through challenges they are facing.

She likes to use her natural strengths of listening, being compassionate, and being empathetic combined with her clinical training and experience in order to come alongside clients and provide support in helping them to overcome challenges, achieve their personal goals, and live the life they want for themselves.
