The Psychological Testing & Evaluation Process
At Meadowlark, the psychological testing process can range from 3-6 hours and begins with an in-depth interview with a psychologist. The goal is to share concerns and discuss goals.
Then, using evidence-based assessment techniques, our psychologists guide the individual through a series of tasks, activities, and direct testing to evaluate cognitive and behavioral functioning.
Afterward, the psychologist analyzes the results and collaborates with individuals and their caregivers or guardians to explore potential treatment options. These include therapy, skill-building, school accommodations, or medication management.
From there, our team will help coordinate continuing care by making referrals, communicating with schools, and collaborating with other providers.
